What’s been the steepest learning curve on your career journey so far?

When given significant responsibility and authority / flexibility to make decisions and implement.

When first moved to corporate I was designated to execute an M&A transaction in Greater China almost on my own. In order to make sound judgement and execute all process including designing the transaction scheme, negotiating terms, plan for PMI etc., I studied local business customs and laws and regulations with purpose in a short period and came up with various solutions. I was able to gain a lot of knowledge and experience in a few months and it was one of the most fast growing periods in my career.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Don’t be afraid of making mistakes.
