WHAT’S BEEN THE STEEPEST LEARNING CURVE ON YOUR CAREER JOURNEY SO FAR?

The learning curve I am experiencing at the moment – transiting from a business development professional to an investor forces me to adopt a different mindset as I look into an asset, a technology, or a company: as a BDer, I can always cherry-pick the good and carve out the bad, but as an investor, I need to develop holistic and global thinking.

WHICH TECH TREND ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT AT THE MOMENT AND WHY?

Early disease detection technology. Most of the endeavors in the pharmaceutical industry are to find ways to treat diseases, but what If we can identify a disease even before it starts to form – such technology could save billions of life and trillions of costs. 

WHAT’S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’VE EVER RECEIVED?

“Trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.” Steve Jobs’ words have always encouraged me to follow my heart and explore the outer and inner world without worrying if I am “distracted from the right path”.
