Based in the US, Stephanie is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Gainsight. As an experienced enterprise marketing leader, Stephanie brings more than 25 years of experience building impactful cross-border go-to-market teams. She has previously held roles at Salesforce, Cordial Inc., Iterable and Optimizely. She will lend her marketing expertise and growth mindset to help the Eight Roads’ SaaS companies in India and Southeast Asia strengthen their market position in the US and Europe markets.

What motivates you?

Working with a diverse group of people and learning something from each of them.  I’ve been very lucky to meet some amazing people on my career journey and blessed that many took the time to share their wisdom with me along the way.

What’s been the steepest learning curve on your career journey so far?

Moving from Europe to the USA. We have so much in common but there was so much to learn!

Which global marketing trend are you most excited about at the moment and why?

I’m always excited to learn about technology that enables marketing teams (B2B or B2C) to know their customers better and understand their needs - at scale. I think AI and deep personalization are facianting.  As a marketer I love the possibilities the technology opens up to us and as a consumer, it feels great when brands show they know me.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? 

Don’t be in a hurry with your career.  Master your craft at each stage - it will make you better and better as you move up in the org and you will be a stronger leader because you took the time to be an expert in your role.
