What Motivates you?

I find motivation in discovering something new — whether through meeting someone
for the first time, seeing the familiar from a different angle, or embracing change. Each
discovery fuels my curiosity and keeps me learning, and it is why I am passionate
about supporting startups that create new value for society.

What's been the steepest learning curve on your career journey so far?

After completing my MBA, I transferred to my previous firm’s Singapore office. Even though the industry was the same, adapting to an entirely new environment and delivering results was more challenging than I had expected. I came to realize that sometimes a bit of naive courage leads you to choices you might never have made otherwise.

Which global or Japan trend are you most excited about at the moment and why?
 

Customer-centric, flexible manufacturing. Advances across technologies are enabling precise demand capture and supply-chain operations that are increasingly efficient, transparent, and sustainable. With global trade and supply networks being reshaped and devices and services redefined around AI, it is interesting to see how this space evolves.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground. This reminds me that imagination is where realization begins, while I remain grateful for what I have.
