What is the job you do at Eight Roads? Can you briefly describe a day in your life at work? 

I lead the finance function at Eight Roads in India. As part of my role, I support our portfolio companies to help advise on any finance and tax related matters. I also help track the fund performance in India, managing NAV reporting and budgeting for the India business.

Looking back, what’s been the steepest learning curve on your career journey so far?

Every career opportunity has been unique. However, transitioning from a consultancy role to the VC/PE industry has been the most exciting and has brought with it a number of opportunities to develop new skills.

If you could give one piece of advice to your 20-year-old self what would it be?

Be bold, learn to be more intuitive.
