The opportunity to interact with founders (highly optimistic and energetic folks who are building 0 to 1 businesses) and being a part of their journey.

What’s been the steepest learning curve on your career journey so far?

Changing career paths; from being a consultant where you advise large clients on industry best practices, strategy etc. to being a venture investor where you are assessing companies which are creating a new industry/segment requires you to look ahead into the future, trusting your gut and the entrepreneur’s vision. Making sense of that has been the biggest learning curve for me, a process that I am still going through.

Which tech trend are you most excited about at the moment and why?

Globally and specially in India, access and inclination to consume goods and services through digital channels has been growing at a rapid pace, which has given rise to new business opportunities. This shift towards digitization is also leading to new trends that leverage data, artificial intelligence to personalize offerings, which is creating exceptional value for both consumers and businesses.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

While there is no single path to success, being open to possibilities and learning from experience (both your own and others around you) goes a long way.
