What motivates you?

Having the opportunity to interact with founders (the highly optimistic and energetic lot, who are building 0 to 1 businesses), being a part of their journey and making a significant difference is my driving force.

What’s been the steepest learning curve on your career journey so far?

The shift from being a consultant where you advise large clients on best practices and strategy in the industry to being an venture investor where you typically assess companies which are creating a new industry/segment requires fair bit of future gazing, trusting your gut and the entrepreneur’s vision; Making sense of that has been the biggest learning curve for me, and I continue to learn with every new company.

Which tech trend are you most excited about at the moment and why?

Globally and specially in India, the access and inclination to consume goods and services through digital channels has been growing at rapid pace, which has opened a large spectrum of business opportunities; This shift towards digitization is also leading to further trends of leveraging data, artificial intelligence to personalize offerings, which is creating exceptional value for both consumer and the businesses.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

While there is no single path to success, being open to possibilities and learning from experience (both your own and others around you) goes a long way.
