Rulai Launches 'Low-Code' Chatbot and Raises $6.5m
China ventures portfolio company, Rulai has launched a new "low-code" chatbot development tool and also raised $6.5m.

 

Professor Zhang, the company's chief technologist and her team have launched a product that customer service managers can use to develop chatbots that will perform tasks based on customer conversations, and that can be created without a single line of code.

 

In an interview in TechCrunch, Professor Zhang also talked about the strength of Rulai's AI technology. She said that the company's bot can escalate tasks to a human customer support system when needed; perform several round of communication with a customers and remember the context of the conversation.

 

The China ventures team participated in this latest round of financing alongside GSR Ventures and Zhongwei Capital.
