Today, we are delighted to welcome Alex Emery as our President.

Based in Hong Kong, Alex will oversee the firm’s global operations, and provide leadership to take the business into its next phase of development. With over 20 years of investment experience in Europe and Asia, Alex joins us from Permira, where he served as Head of Asia and was a member of the Global Executive Committee. During his tenure, he helped establish Permira’s presence in Asia and invested and participated in numerous transactions, including Akindo Sushiro, Arysta LifeScience, Galaxy Entertainment Group, I-MED, Grobest, and Tricor.

Alex began his career at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs before joining Braxton Associates. He later spent five years at McKinsey & Company in London. A French national who has lived in Asia for over 30 years, Alex is fluent in Japanese. In his new role, Alex will support the global platform's investment activity healthcare and technology.
