The startup announced that it has raised around $10m in Series Pre-B funding round led by Eight Roads Ventures China. The proceed will be used for business development.

Set up in 2016 by founder Zhuang Qian, KY seeks to promote mental well-being among the younger generation. Since its inception, KY has evolved from a WeChat-based community to a matrix of platforms that provides mental assessments, mental practices, CBT-based email therapy, self-improvement courses, e-commerce, as well as O2O workshops.

KY’s early-stage investors include state-backed Ping An Group’s investment arm Ping An Ventures, ZhenFund, and Yijin Yuhui Investment.
