What motivates you?

Belief and passion.

What do you like about your job?

I like the fact that there is no fixed road in front of you. You have to work out what you want to do and how you want to do it and what it will take to get you there.

What’s been the steepest learning curve of your career so far?

I feel I am at the steepest part of my learning curve right now. I started my career as a content producer for mobile phones and always used my professional skills in the creative arena. After six years in the business development department at Walt Disney, I began to see the world from a different angle and now I feel I’m learning more than ever about how the world works and the commercial realities of business.

What current technology trend do you get most excited about and why?

The Internet of Things (IoT). IoT is a buzzword and can sound difficult to understand, but I don’t see it like that. Data mining, where embedded devices constantly convey real-time data, is the future. The ways in which it can change, adapt and transform are infinite and that’s what excites me about it.

If you could give one piece of advice to your 20-year-old self, what would it be?

Study hard and travel harder. Meeting new people from around the world will help you in ways you can’t imagine now.

Your favourite qualities in an entrepreneur?

The passion to run through a brick wall to make things happen.
