Looking back, what’s been the steepest learning curve on your career journey so far?
It would have to be jumping from advising established companies on mergers and acquisitions, primary equity capital raises and structured debt solutions to evaluating early stage business models within industries on the brink of disruption.
If you could give one piece of advice to your 20-year-old self what would it be?
Focus on what you are good at. You don’t have to have the perfect degree or the perfect job, as long as you are passionate and enjoy what you do.
Which investment trend are you most excited about at the moment and why?
Virtual reality, as I believe it to be the next big wave after the PC, Macintosh, internet and the mobile phone. Virtual reality has a variety of applications in industries ranging from gaming, healthcare, architecture, education, manufacturing to social media. Virtual reality also helps in bridging the communication gap between people, thereby improving relationships in an efficient manner.
