WHAT’S BEEN THE STEEPEST LEARNING CURVE ON YOUR CAREER JOURNEY SO FAR?

Probably my first few weeks at Eight Roads! Having come from a strategy consulting background I didn’t have any first-hand investment execution experience. Being thrown into a deal in the first week made me appreciate how hard it must be for first-time founders to continuously service the data requests thrown at them during the fundraising process let alone manage the operational side of the business.

WHICH EUROPE OR GLOBAL TECH TREND ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT AT THE MOMENT AND WHY?

I’m quite excited about what the Multiverse has in store for us – with Facebook moving towards becoming a “Multiverse” company it will be exciting to see what new channels are created through AR / VR interactions.

WHAT’S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’VE EVER RECEIVED?

Best advice I’ve received is to remember to swim against the current every so often – don’t be afraid to make the unorthodox decision and disrupt the flow otherwise nothing will change!
