What is the job you do at Eight Roads? Can you briefly describe a day in your life at work? 

I am part of the finance team at Eight Roads Ventures India. My role is to assist investment activities and portfolio reporting such as NAV reporting, fund performance, strategic support, new investment and the divestment process.

Looking back, what’s been the steepest learning curve on your career journey so far?

Being part of some of the landmark deals at KPMG across sectors for various transaction purposes and hand holding all stakeholders. And now transitioning from a consultancy role to a VC/PE role is exciting as it requires me to leverage my past experience and acquire new skills simultaneously, helping create value to both portfolio companies and the Eight Roads team.

If you could give one piece of advice to your 20-year-old self what would it be?

Do not hold yourself back and keep trying something new.

How do you directly support our entrepreneurs and portfolio companies? 

The finance team at Eight Roads helps provide statistical analysis, strategic inputs and monitors our portfolio companies to help improve the company's performance.
